As for walking.. I too Love to take walks. Love to observe life’s beautiful little details that I fly past in my car as life keeps me zooming all over even though I would enjoy more down time!
with your permission.. I would love to link to your blog on mine. It may bring you some additional readers. Hope all is well and glad you are enjoying this fulfilling pastime.

Thanks Lulu! It is a wonder you found me!
I would very much like it if you provided a link from your blog to On Lives. I have been looking for ways to increase readership and I’m sure an endorsement from Lulu’s Petals would help.
Walking has become a hobby and way of life for me. At this point, I have to hit the streets for an hour or so each day, get my legs and lungs pumping, and my thoughts organized. It’s great to walk down the same route one flies down in a car because like you said, new details emerge. The world expands when we walk and I tend to find something new about my surroundings or myself that surprises me.

MIKE- REALLy enjoyed the walking dialogue. It made me feel that I was right there with you walking. I really don’t walk that much. When I go on vacation I do since there are new things to walk to and explore. Some people walk around a track or on a treadmill. this to me is boring walking.
Walking gets you to a destination of a goal. I think that is the key.

Many people walk for many different reasons, and you’re right: I will never understand why people choose to walk on a track. Maybe because there are more walkers around and less cars and dogs. The track is more of a social place for walkers.
Get out there and start walking! You don’t have to be on vacation to go exploring!
